JACK BUCK IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A NEW VENTURE. squash is just that.

Squash is quite a new venture for us. We grow four colourful varieties of autumn squash which look so attractive when mixed in the tray that it is no surprise that sales are growing.

Squash are members of the same family as courgettes and pumpkins. We drill seeds in May, spaced well apart and they develop into the familiar large bushy plant. Harvesting is done very carefully by hand in September and we wash and pack for customers up to December.
