Jack Buck Farms is always looking for an exciting new venture, and our foray into Autumn Squash has been a vibrant success!

We cultivate four colourful varieties of squash. These look so attractive when mixed together in the tray that it’s no surprise sales are rapidly growing.

The process:

Squash are members of the same family as courgettes and pumpkins. We drill the seeds in May, ensuring they are spaced well apart to develop into the familiar large, bushy plant. Harvesting is done very carefully by hand in September. After the gentle harvest, we wash and pack the squash, supplying our customers right up until December.
