We farm around 1,800 acres of prime silt land, growing a variety of vegetable and flower crops. Our celeriac brand, “The Ugly One,” is a well-known sight in the UK market. We focus on providing high-quality produce with full traceability and a consistent supply. We aim for high productivity while maintaining a strong environmental policy and good employment conditions for our staff.
At our farm, the work never stops; we are busy all year round, cultivating our land and harvesting our crops. The agricultural cycle begins and ends with our two most important crops, daffodils and celeriac, but the work that takes place between these two harvests is immense.
Our farming guide offers a detailed, month-by-month account of the incredibly hectic, yet fulfilling, life on a British arable and flower farm. From planting and nurturing to harvesting and preparing for market, our team is constantly working to bring a wide variety of high-quality produce and flowers to customers.

Directors
They have been instrumental in shaping the farm’s direction and are now taking on a consultant role, offering their deep knowledge and guidance to the next generation of leadership. Their experience, built over decades, is the foundation of the farm’s success and a testament to their unwavering commitment to quality and tradition.
To meet the demands of the daffodil season, we welcome a seasonal team to our farm each year. Managed through our in-house Labour Provider Agency, Socius, these highly skilled workers are an essential part of our operation.
The majority of our seasonal staff are of East European origin and have now made a home in the local community with settled status. They bring incredible diligence and a strong work ethic, allowing us to manage the intensive daffodil harvest with precision and efficiency. The partnership between our full-time and seasonal teams is seamless, built on mutual respect and shared goals.
